I'm not much of a horse person and don't like to go faster than a
short canter before reverting quickly to a trot... but our host
picked out a perfect horse for me, and one suited for my husband who
is comfortable on any horse. Viewing the amazing countryside of
sculpted rocks, at an ambling pace, perched on horseback, was one of
the highlights of our stay in Cappadocia. Afterwards we were served
tea and treats and chatted with the family who runs the ranch.
Indeed another example of generous and delightful Turkish
hospitality. I highly recommend a visit to meet Cemal and his ranch.
The hours we spent with him allowed us to feel we were not just more
tourists looking at magical landscape, but part of it.
